Right now where it stands I would be uneasy using ANY sketchup content. It seems on one hand uploading stuff to sketchup you agree to make it redistributable as before but on the otherhand you need permission to redistribute or use commercially and sketchup content, it seems to contradict itself in several places. I read the NEW EULA and came away totaly baffled I find it easier to first open a model in SketchUp to make sure that all back faces are indeed at the back before having to keep jumping back and forward between the 2.Ĭhecking the faces first in SketchUp only takes a few seconds, and saves a lot of time later when getting rid of the back faces in 3DXchange. I've never directly downloaded anything from the warehouse into 3DXchange. It took me a bit to realise what I had to do to get where I wanted to go but I finally got there. Fortunately for me I guess, I'm so ignorant about everything that I have always downloaded to my comp and then extracted and loaded into 3dx.
